During the Viet Nam war 1964-1968 he had a Student Deferment. When his first daughter was born in 1968 he was given a 3-A Deferment. During the Viet Nam war the Goverment did not draft students who were married with children. His bigest regret, I am told is that he didn't go to Nam.

many of us served our country without the need to be drafted, Leo. You wouldn't understand the concept. Hiding behind 3-A is typical for you. Lot of college men enlisted or went ROTC, alot had kids. you wouldn't understand the concept.

Better stay off of talking about war or the men who fight them, you don't understand that concept either AND you certainly aren't qualified to speak on the topic.
