CIERA HARVEY IDHS EMPLOYEE CHARGED WITH CONTEMPT OF COURT

CHICAGO (AEAE) CIERA HARVEY A SENIOR REHABILITATION COUNSELOR, employed with the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS), Wood Street Office has been charged with Contempt of Court.
On August 17, 2024 Ciera Harvey conducted a redetermination hearing of a severally disabled "adult child" 32 year old male who had been receiving 15 hours of daily care pursuant to two court orders. Ciera Harvey, in direct violation of the two court orders, reduced the disabled person's hours of care by about 40% .
Ciera Harvey works out of the IDHS 1151 S Wood St Chicago, IL 60612.
Ciera Harvey has also been named in a Circuit Court lawsuit filed on February 27, 2024. See attached.

Patricia Jackowiak Esq Petition file with the Illinois Governors Office to Remove Patricia Jackowiak from the office of the Chief Administrator Law Judge

Chicago-(AEAE) Yester day a law suit was filed in cook County Case No 2024 1625043 charging Patricia Jackowiak with being a bias and prejudice administrator. One of Ms Patricia Jackowiak's hearing officers, Karen Ottaviani Roslie was charged with being an anti-Semitic and a "bias and prejudice" hearing officer. The Parties moved to SOJ, replace Karen Ottavianic Roslie from a March 7, 2024 Appeal hearing before the IDHS hearing. Chief Judge Patrcia Jackowiak refused to remove or replace Hearing Officer Karen Ottaviani despite the fact that the parties that are appearing before Ms Roslie believe that they cannot get a fair and impartial Appeal hearing before Hearing Office Ottavianic Roslie.

The American's for the Enforcement of Attorney Ethics (AEAE) has filed a Petition with the Governor of Illinois's office seek to have Patricia Jackowiak removed from office of Chief Judge alleging that Chief Judge Patricia Jackowiak is unfit to hold the office of the Chief Judge.

Patricia Jackowiak is the Director/Chief Administrative Law Judge of the City of Chicago’s Department of Administrative Hearings. Ms. Jackowiak also served as the Deputy Director/Deputy Chief Administrative Law Judge until being appointed by Mayor Richard M. Daley as the Acting Director on August 27, 2010. Her appointment was confirmed by the City Council on October 6, 2010. Prior to serving in the Department of Administrative Hearings, Ms. Jackowiak was the Deputy Commissioner in the Chicago Department of Consumer Services’ Consumer Protection Division. Before Ms. Jackowiak joined the City of Chicago, she was a Supervising Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney assigned to the Child Support Enforcement Division.

To Prove Defamation Case?
What Do You Have To Prove? There are two things you have to prove to be true in order to win a case of defamation of character in the court of law. First of all, you have to prove without a doubt that what was said or written about you is not true. Once you have proved that the statement is, in fact, false you have to prove that the other person said the false statement with the intent of causing you some form of harm.
The Fair Reporting Privilege is a defense to any claim of Defamation

The Fair Report Privilege applies to the information contained on this web site.

“[T]he fair report privilege has two requirements: (1) the report must be of an official proceeding; and (2) the report must be complete and accurate or a fair abridgment of the official proceeding. [Citation.] *** For a publication to be considered a fair abridgment, the report must convey to readers a substantially correct account of the official proceedings.
