Chicago-(AEAE) Yester day a law suit was filed in cook County Case No 2024 1625043 charging Patricia Jackowiak with being a bias and prejudice administrator. One of Ms Patricia Jackowiak's hearing officers, Karen Ottaviani Roslie was charged with being an anti-Semitic and a "bias and prejudice" hearing officer. The Parties moved to SOJ, replace Karen Ottavianic Roslie from a March 7, 2024 Appeal hearing before the IDHS hearing. Chief Judge Patrcia Jackowiak refused to remove or replace Hearing Officer Karen Ottaviani despite the fact that the parties that are appearing before Ms Roslie believe that they cannot get a fair and impartial Appeal hearing before Hearing Office Ottavianic Roslie.
The American's for the Enforcement of Attorney Ethics (AEAE) has filed a Petition with the Governor of Illinois's office seek to have Patricia Jackowiak removed from office of Chief Judge alleging that Chief Judge Patricia Jackowiak is unfit to hold the office of the Chief Judge.
Patricia Jackowiak is the Director/Chief Administrative Law Judge of the City of Chicago’s Department of Administrative Hearings. Ms. Jackowiak also served as the Deputy Director/Deputy Chief Administrative Law Judge until being appointed by Mayor Richard M. Daley as the Acting Director on August 27, 2010. Her appointment was confirmed by the City Council on October 6, 2010. Prior to serving in the Department of Administrative Hearings, Ms. Jackowiak was the Deputy Commissioner in the Chicago Department of Consumer Services’ Consumer Protection Division. Before Ms. Jackowiak joined the City of Chicago, she was a Supervising Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney assigned to the Child Support Enforcement Division.
