TUCSON, Ariz. — A gunman opened fire as a congresswoman met with constituents outside a grocery store, killing Arizona's chief federal judge. Arizona Chief US District Judge John M. Roll Killed in Tucson Attack and five others and leaving the lawmaker fighting for her life in an attempted assassination that had Americans questioning whether divisive politics had driven the attack. The shooting targeted Democratic Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, authorities said, and left the three-term congresswoman in critical condition after a bullet passed through her head. A shaken President Barack Obama called the attack "a tragedy for our entire country." It is no longer safe in this country for our elected officials to conduct "Street Corner events without security. In addition, our elected officials should be doing there business in an under ground bonkers. The Senate and Congress buildings in Washington should now be only used as museums. The government can no longer afford to conduct its business in a public fashion without risking having itself blown up by terrorist.
