CHICAGO-(AEAE)-THE LAW FIRM OF BRYAN CAVE LLP CHICAGO OFFICE SENIOR PARTNER STEVEN R. SMITH REFUSED TO SIGN FOR THE RECEIPT OF ADMISSIONS SERVED UPON THE LAW FIRM OF BRYAN CAVE, STEVEN R. SMITH AND MICHAEL WERICH. A Petition for indirect criminal contempt was filed against Steven R. Smith charging him with "false swearing", perjury. The charges against Michael Werich were subornation of perjury.

Let's not forget what the States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit said about you, Leo: "Stoller offered confused, misleading deposition testimony with unfulfilled promises of cooperation. And the documents produced effectively made a mockery of the entire proceeding."

What Do You Have To Prove? There are two things you have to prove to be true in order to win a case of defamation of character in the court of law. First of all, you have to prove without a doubt that what was said or written about you is not true. Once you have proved that the statement is, in fact, false you have to prove that the other person said the false statement with the intent of causing you some form of harm.
