Chicago-(AEAE) THE AMERICANS FOR THE ENFORCEMENT OF ATTORNEY ETHICS (AEAE) IN THEIR ANNUAL MEETING awarded a Chicago Attorney Philip Kiss its highest rating five stars.
Philip Kiss has been practicing law in the Chicago Land Area for over 32 years. Both his peers and his clients have given Mr. Kiss their highest ratings over this long 32 years period.
AEAE congratulates Mr. Philip Kiss on a job well done and recognized Mr. Philip Kiss as one of the 10 best lawyers in Illinois, of which their are over 80,000.

Really?? This guy charged me about 4k for a pretty cut and dry probate case, screwed up the estate taxes, and then dumped the whole case for me questioning him for charging me for email correspondence and double charging for some other stuff. Had to pay someone another 400 to do the estate taxes, because even though hes a CPA, he did them wrong. Yet still he fgo paid. I ended up owing about 4k less. He did a tax filing extension that i didnt even need too late so i got dinged for that too. Judge handling the probate wrote a court order and had me send it certified mail to have him summoned into court so we could dismiss him after i tried to reach him for a year with no results. Certified letter received. He had the gall to not show up to court. No way this guy deserves an award for being anything but an asshole.

I wholeheartedly agree with Kristen Mosley’s comment above - the only thing Mr. Kiss would be among the 10 best at is screwing up your taxes and then disappearing. After many repeated unsuccessful attempts to contact him by phone, text and certified mail to rectify the situation, we had to hire a CPA to file amended returns for us. The CPA cost us $1,000 but we were able to realize a reimbursement of over $11,000 from IRS and ILDR in taxes that we should never had paid on a sale of real estate we owned. He could have simply admitted the error(s) and filed amended returns for us, however he apparently chose to hide and permanently cease communication with us instead. He had also constructed a family Trust for us years previously which, come to find out, did NOT provide for beneficiaries in the way he assured us it would. Too late now, though. If these are the standards by which the AEAE chooses IL’s top 10, I shudder to think what the other 79,990 are like. Be informed and beware.

To Prove Defamation Case?
What Do You Have To Prove? There are two things you have to prove to be true in order to win a case of defamation of character in the court of law. First of all, you have to prove without a doubt that what was said or written about you is not true. Once you have proved that the statement is, in fact, false you have to prove that the other person said the false statement with the intent of causing you some form of harm.
