CHICAGO TRIBUNE DENIES ITS FACEBOOK FOLLOWERS THEIR FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS

CHICAGO-(AEAE)-THE CHICAGO TRIBUNE NEWSPAPER AN ALLEGED DEFENDER OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS, DEPRIVES FACEBOOK WRITERS THE RIGHT TO PUBLISH ON THE CHICAGO TRIBUNE FACEBOOK WALL. The Chicago Tribune has a Facebook account where writers can post comments on stories that are written by the Chicago Tribune. However, the Chicago Tribune has a policy to delete comments posted on their face book wall which they determine are inappropriate violating the First Amendment rights of the writers posting the comments. The Tribune does not allow its commentators their First Amendment right to post the truth, the unvarnished truth on their Facebook Wall in response to what the Tribune publishes. In contrast to Chicago’s other news paper the Sun Times, which allows writers to post any non offensive comments they like on their Facebook wall, in response to the stories that the Sun Times has written. When the Tribune feels that their first amendment rights are be abridged in the future and the vociferously complain, the public should consider it is really like “the pot calling the kettle Black!”

What Do You Have To Prove? There are two things you have to prove to be true in order to win a case of defamation of character in the court of law. First of all, you have to prove without a doubt that what was said or written about you is not true.
