COAST GUARD SAVES YACHT, LOSES CREW

CALIFORNIA-(AEAE)-TODAY THE U.S. COAST GUARD SAVED A 100 FOOT AUSTRALIAN YACHT THAT WAS PARTICIPATING IN AN AROUND THE WORLD RACE. The boat was suddenly hit by a tsunami like wave that washed the 13 African Crew members over the side. Members of the Australian Boat Company were relieved to hear that the Coast Guard was able to save its priceless boat. A company spokesman said “while it is very regrettable that the entire crew perished and we do grieve for the family members who lost their loved ones, while they were doing what they love to do the best, but it is always possible to find another schvartzer Crew, it would have been impossible to replace our unique sail boat.”

When asked by an official from the Coast Guard “why the sail boat had no life jackets on board?” A spokesman for the company responded, “This was a racing boat and life jackets just added unnecessary weight!”

What Do You Have To Prove? There are two things you have to prove to be true in order to win a case of defamation of character in the court of law. First of all, you have to prove without a doubt that what was said or written about you is not true. Once you have proved that the statement is, in fact, false you have to prove that the other person said the false statement with the intent of causing you some form of harm.
