ILLINOIS APPELLATE TO DECIDE ATTORNEY LANCE G. JOHNSON AND STOLLER\\\'S DIVORCE APPEAL

CHICAGO-(AEAE)-THE ILLINOIS APPELLATE COURT FIRST DIVISION HAS ISSUED ORDERS LAST WEEK STATING THAT THEY WILL ISSUE DECISIONS IN THE LANCE G. JOHNSON 100 MILLION DOLLAR DEFAMATION LAWSUIT AND STOLLER DIVORCE APPEAL WITHOUT THE NEED OF ORAL ARGUMENTS. Stoller appealed an order of protection that was entered in a divorce proceeding in Nov. 25, 2008. The Illinois Appellate court finally issued an order that they will decide the appeal on the briefs alone. In a second decision the Illinois Appellate Court stated in an order that they will decide the Lance G. Johnson 100 million dollar defamation appeal on the briefs alone. Stay tuned

What Do You Have To Prove? There are two things you have to prove to be true in order to win a case of defamation of character in the court of law. First of all, you have to prove without a doubt that what was said or written about you is not true. Once you have proved that the statement is, in fact, false you have to prove that the other person said the false statement with the intent of causing you some form of harm.
