NORTH CAROLINA-(AEAE)-FORMER PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE JOHN EDWARDS CRIMINAL CORRUPTION TRIAL SCHEDULED TO BEGIN THIS MONTH HAS BEEN DELAYED UNTIL MARCH 26, 2012 ACCORDING TO COURT RECORDS. John Edwards now claims that he has a life-threatening heart condition. Judge Catherine Eagles according to sources had exparte communications with Edwards' cardiologist, who recommended a delay in Edwards trial. According to the prosecutors Edwards' illness would not influence a jury verdict. If former President Mubarak can be wheeled into the courtroom on a hospital gurney, why should not John Edwards be allowed to appear in court on a hospital gurney if he is not well enough to walk? Edwards lawyers said, “Is this the way we should treat a former senator?” “Former Senator Edwards is charged with very serious felonies, while his wife was dying of cancer John Edwards according sources charges was shacking up with a campaign staffer.

Although there is no evidence that Edwards personally collected “one” donation or personally issued any false statements, according to an expert familiar with the case.Edwards is charged under the Common Law Doctrine of Respondeat superior with six felony and misdemeanor counts related to donations to and payments from his failed 2008 presidential campaign. He is accused of conspiracy, issuing false statements and violating campaign contribution laws. John Edwards life-threatening heart condition has nothing to do with his defense of the case, according to prosecutors. Edwards probably will not take the stand anyway. Let the Trial begin!”

What Do You Have To Prove? There are two things you have to prove to be true in order to win a case of defamation of character in the court of law. First of all, you have to prove without a doubt that what was said or written about you is not true.
